Introducing our new Alberta Catholic Education Curriculum and Resource Coordinator!

Our executive team is pleased to announce Stacey MacNeil as the successful candidate for the position of Alberta Catholic Education Curriculum and Resource Coordinator working under the direction of the Council of Catholic School Superintendents of Alberta. We are grateful for the endorsement of and partnership with the Alberta Catholic School Trustees Association and our Alberta Bishops in securing this position.

Stacey is a Junior High Religion teacher and Religion Department Head at St. John Paul II Collegiate in Okotoks. In addition to her teaching duties over the past two years Stacey has been reviewing the Gr. 9 provincial RE curriculum and is developing pilot lessons for the new Alberta Gr. 9 RE Curriculum. She also participated in the development of the Hashtag Relationship Program in Christ the Redeemer Schools.

Stacey is a longtime servant leader who lives out her faith in her school, division and parish. Dr. Scott Morrison, Superintendent of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools said, "Ms. MacNeil has been a faith leader at her school and in Christ The Redeemer Catholic Schools for many years. She will serve the province with excellence in this role.”

Stacey will begin her Coordinator duties in September 2020.
